Consultation For Therapists

$199.00

Receiving on-going supervision has been a source of great professional growth for me and, in an effort to share the benefit with other therapists, I offer supervision/consultation groups open to licensed, and license-eligible professionals such as Social Workers, Marriage and Family Counselors, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and Psychiatric Nurses.  Group members work in private practice settings or in agencies and hospitals.

I also offer individual consultation.  My philosophy is the same whether you are in a group, or receive consultation individually.  However, you can get more continuous  and concentrated help with your cases by meeting with me alone.

If you would like to explore getting clinical consultation, whether in a group or individually, please use the contact form or send me an email at dr.jeff@jeffreyaxelbankpsyd.com.

In these groups, members share details on difficult cases, situations in which they feel stuck, or complicated situations. We explore technical issues, countertransference (could be induced by the patient and/or the result of the therapist’s history), and connections to theory. All of this is only possible in a setting in which psychological safety is solid.
